Have you always wanted to create a shelf according to your own ideas? Let's go! With the shelf module of our modular shelving system, you can create exactly the storage space you need to suit your space. Connect several modules horizontally and/or vertically with the enclosed connectors and your lowboard, sideboard or bookshelf is ready. Now you can add doors, shelf boards or drawers, which are also available in colours other than the natural colour of the corrugated cardboard. Et Voilà - your chaos is tamed!

No matter how many basic modules and shelving units you order - your individual shelving unit will arrive flat-packed at your home and can be assembled without any additional tools. When assembling, please follow the instructions that you will find in the Instructions.

But can it hold at all? You bet it can! All the cardboard furniture you will find in our shop is made from one of the highest of corrugated cardboard qualities and is therefore extremely stable and durable. Each shelf module can be loaded with up to 10 kg. You can find more detailed information on this in the FAQ and of course in the Instructions. 

Compared to conventional furniture, cardboard furniture is not only light, but also ecologically sustainable. This is because our corrugated cardboard consists of 54 to 80 % recycled paper fibres, is processed environmentally friendly and can be 100% recycled in the end.

How do I assemble the shelf?
The shelf modules can be assembled and connected with a few simple steps and without tools. The instructions for this are enclosed with your shelf. You can also download them here. 

What is the load capacity of the shelf?
Each shelf module has a maximum load capacity of 10 kg. If several basic modules are stacked on top of each other, the modules from the fourth row onwards may only be loaded with 7.5 kg. The load capacity of the shelf surface is max. 2.5 kg per module.

Do all extensions fit every shelf?
In general, all shelf extensions can be placed completely flexibly on the shelf. 

Is the shelf module also available in other colors?
The shelf module is only available in natural cardboard color. The inserts are available in the colors natural cardboard, white, black and sage.

Can the shelf also be hung freely on the wall?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. The shelf must always stand on the floor.

Can I fix the shelf to the wall?
Yes, each shelf module comes with a wall fastening with which the shelf can be fixed to the wall. From a height of 3 modules, the top module must be connected to the wall. You can find more detailed information on this in the shelf instructions.

Can I rearrange the shelf again?
You can adapt the shelf flexibly to your needs and reassemble it again and again. The individual shelf modules are joined together horizontally and vertically with connectors that can be easily detached and reinserted. 

Can I use the shelf for file folders?
Yes, standardised files fit into the shelf modules without any problems.
